In 1981 Stephen Holloway started from very humble beginnings by offering his building services to the public by way of leaflet dropping.  A qualified Bricklayer by trade having gained a great deal of experience on large sites watching other trades and how the whole project was put together.   With a keen eye for perfection in 1983 he took the plunge and went self employed.  Starting in the Home Counties in Buckinghamshire Steve offered building work to to local property owners, getting involved in new builds as well as sympathetic renovations of older properties. Gradually over the years and after many projects of his own, buying houses and doing them up and selling he gained an exemplary reputation in the local area.  After ten years he no longer needed to advertise as there was always a waiting list for his services. Steve is a taskmaster, everybody that works with him and for him must pass his stringent high standards as the clients he works with would accept nothing less.  He prides himself on his reliable, high standard reputation.   

Over the last 20 years of business Steve has forged relationships with many architects in the area who recommend him to their clients.  Working on large projects,  projects starting at  £200,000 right up to £1,000,000.  Steve works closely with his clients to execute their wishes.   Repeat business has always been forthcoming. Steve’s sons followed him into the family business gaining their advanced carpentry City & Guilds and his eldest son Jordan is now part of the Directorship of the Business.   Moving forward Q Development & Construction Ltd are looking to work with clients looking to build their own homes. One to one attention is given to every aspect of Q’s work, all trades are vetted by Steve and Jordan to ensure that they work to the company’s exacting standards.    Having not had to advertise for the last twenty years is testament to the reputation that has been built locally.
